Screening/Jury Selections Completed

The jury is out. Our five jurists have ten films to watch and think about this week. They will select 4 films which will be our official “Jury Prize” winners. 1 Canadian and 3 international films will be chosen and announced at the Nov. 9th Second Life event. We’ve also narrowed down the over 130 entries to about 40 that will screen in a specially designed theatre in Second Life.

It took us a while to get through all of the entries and we have come up with marvellous films that we are proud to present at the Expo.

Notices have gone out to all the jury nominees and the screeners. I’ll be posting the titles of each group here as soon as we get screen caps for each film.

Our thanks to everyone who submitted a film. It was quite an expeience to watch so many films. Really gives you a snapshot of where machinima is right now.
