Jury Nominations for the Expo
The films listed below are those that are being submitted to our five person jury for award consideration. Of the 153 films submitted to the Expo, these 13 films (plus 4 films that are being considered for the Asian jury prize) represent machinima filmmaking of the highest quality. Each director perfectly balanced the form and content of their films while imaginatively expressing their feelings/ideas at the same time. Out of these 17 films, our jury will select 1 Jury Grand Prize film, 4 Jury Prize films and 1 Asian Jury Prize film. The winners will be announced at the MachinExpo on November 22, 2009.
Our congratulations to the nominees. As filmmakers ourselves, we know the kind of work that goes into creating a good machinima film. These 17 films have that something extra that we all strive for. Thank you for submitting your film to our second Expo. Your films help make the Expo a place to experience the art of machinima.
We have created a separate page for the jury films called “Jury films at the Expo”. Each film will have a screen capture and a link to where you can view the film.
