2009 MachinExpo Jury Prize Winners Announced

On Sunday, November 22nd, winners of the 2009 MachinExpo Jury Prize were announced. The results are as follows:

Special Achievement in Directing – Lainy Voom

Jury Prize – Hardy Capo (”Cafe Insomniac”)

Jury Prize – Ian Chisholm (”Clear Skies 2″)

Jury Prize – Lainy Voom (”Push”)

Jury Prize – James Spencer & Jon Sortland (”Shelf Life”)

Winners of the Jury Prize (and Special Award) receive a free copy of Reallusion’s iClone 4 Pro + 3DXchange . The Grand Prize winner recieves free copies of iClone 4 Pro, 3DXchange and Crazy Talk 6. Our sincere thanks to Reallusion and John Martin in particular who have already delivered the prizes to our winners.

  • Machinima Expo 2009: Post Mortem

    The second annual INTERNATIONAL MACHINIMA EXPO 2009 took place on November 22, 2009. It was a very successful event, but we'd like to hear your thoughts on how we can make it better. Join us for a Post Mortem of the Expo on Wednesday, November 25th at 7PM pacific Time at the University Campus Suffolk Island in the virtual world of SECOND LIFE.

  • How do I get to the Expo?

    If you are familiar with SECOND LIFE, just click the slurl below and teleport to the UCS Island. There will be information signs to guide you.

    If you have never been to SECOND LIFE, it is free and easy to use. Download the software (PC | Mac | Linux available), install and create your SL name. Go through the orientation station so you'll know how to move around and communicate in SL.

    Then all you have to do is use the slurl (Second Life url) linked above to teleport to the Expo location in SECOND LIFE. We will have helpers available if you have questions or need help.
