RICKY GROVE
Ricky Grove has been involved in machinima for over 4 years as both an actor and a sound designer. His sound work on Jason Choi’s Only the Strong Survive won a Mackie award (Academy of Machinima Arts & Sciences) in 2005 and his acting was featured on the machinima film The Days After, directed by Andre Pesch and winner of a 2006 Bitfilm award. Ricky currently runs Machiniplex.com along with Phil Rice. He lives in Los Angeles with his partner, Lisa Morton, an award-winning author of horror fiction.
INGRID MOON
Founder of the Machinima Roadshow and co-founder of Machiniplex, Ingrid Moon is an interactive producer specializing in games and entertainment and has been involved in machinima for over four years. Using her film production background to coach and encourage machinima producers, she has collaborated on over thirty machinima films, produced a handful while working for Machinima.com, and created two making-of videos for a contest sponsored by Intel and Activision. She also uses her marketing background to help bring visibility to the craft of machinima, its growing community, and the many excellent films and series that have been created over the years. She currently works for the Disney Company
PHIL RICE
Phil Rice, also known as Overman, first came to be involved with machinima in 1998, producing a handful of short machinima works. He has collaborated on over 50 films, and is an active contributor to the machinima filmmaking community. Phil hosts a machinima-themed podcast (theovercast.com) and maintains an active blog (z-studios.com/blog). In September of 2006, he released Male Restroom Etiquette, a comedic mockumentary short film, reaching an audience of over five million viewers on YouTube, and gathering a Best Writing award at the 2006 Machinima Film Festival.
DAMIEN VALENTINE
Damien Valentine is a talented young artist from England who has been tinkering with modding and machinima since the early 1990s. Through his production company, Bathtub Productions, Damien has produced dozens of projects, including the vampire series Consanguinity and the well-known Star Wars trilogy The Darkness Saga. At Celebration IV in 2007, Damien’s short machinima film The Death of Jar Jar was a finalist in the Fan Film contest and received laud from George Lucas and thousands of fans. He is currently working on an ambitious original series called The Chronicles of Humanity.
